SUPS provides support to child care services to include children with additional needs. This may include:
children from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds; children with diagnosed disabilities; Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children; and Australian South Sea Islander children.

Thurina caters for pre-schoolers with moderate to severe disabilities. Integrates children with a worker into pre-school. The Thurina program aims to educate and integrate children with moderate to severe disabilities.

Provides early intervention support for families/parents with infants and children 0 to 5 years old, including home visits, parenting support, support for families experiencing stress, linking to existing services, support for isolated families, Aboriginal families, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) families and families with children with special needs.

This reverse integration preschool program provides special education for preschool aged children who have a significant vision or hearing impairment. Children from the local community also attend. Language development is a priority of the program and activities like reading, story telling and drama are emphasised. The playground is specially landscaped and designed to provide appropriate stimulus for children with sensory impairments. In this environment children learn a variety of skills including: Language and communication; Problem-solving; Task-related behaviour; Movement; Self-Help. Activities are designed to foster children's social and emotional development and to enhance their initiative, self-esteem and independence.

Hawkesbury Early Childhood Advisory Service is an assessment and referral service for childcare centres and/or families who have concerns about their child's development in any area. The service also provides and supports developmental educational programming for children with identified needs.

Lifestart Nepean operates Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Lifestart provides an early intervention service for children aged 0 to 6 years. Families self refer to Lifestart. Fees are payable with a provision for a waiver for those in need.
