An equipment loan pool for families of children with disabilities. It enables parents to borrow items that they may need for short periods: for trial while waiting to obtain that item from another source or when the child will only need the item for a short period. Each piece of equipment may be borrowed for a period of up to 6 months. The equipment pool is overseen by a voluntary group of therapists.

If your wheelchair is immobilised through a flat tyre, mechanical breakdown, or electrical fault, you can call the NRMA. Service people are equipped to repair tyres, change tyres, charge batteries, test electricals etc. They are not equipped to do repairs such as welding. Wheelchair calls are given priority and servicemen will do whatever they can to assist.
